Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network’s National Walk for Bladder Cancer

May is Bladder Cancer Awareness Month.

The Urology Group and the bladder cancer community will be joining BCAN, for our fifth year, in the Walk for Bladder Cancer!

Dear Friends and Family,

I recently decided to participate in AMP UP! Move to End Bladder Cancer during National Bladder Cancer Awareness Month. I am taking action in my community to represent the 500,000 people living with bladder cancer in the United States.  I am walking for the 75,000 people that will be diagnosed with bladder cancer this year alone. And I am taking steps to honor the 15,000 who will not survive their bladder cancer journey this year.

Bladder cancer is the 6th most commonly diagnosed cancer in the United States. It impacts both men and women of all ages and races. Although men are 4 times more likely to be diagnosed, women have higher mortality rates due to delayed diagnosis.

We all know that there is strength in numbers, so it is with great strength we'll work and step up and help those who are impacted by bladder cancer.

Will you accept the challenge to make a difference? Just click "Join This Team" (include hyperlink) to become a team member and start fundraising, or click "Donate to This Team" (include hyperlink) to make a donation.

Thank you for stepping up and helping me change the lives of those impacted by bladder cancer!
