Medical Receptionist

Responsibilities
- Greeting patients as they arrive at the office
- Confirming insurance eligibility
- Answering the phones and sending messages through the office electronic medical record
- Collecting co-pays and other patient payments
- Scheduling appointments
- Completing tasks from providers in a timely fashion
- Checking benefits for office procedures and surgeries
- Keeping the reception area clean and organized
- Sending out patient correspondence
Job Requirements

Medical Assistant

Responsibilities
- Obtaining patient vital signs and rooming patients
- Assisting providers with clinical procedures
- Assisting physician with general patient care and medical coding
- Cleaning and stocking exam rooms
- Completing tasks from providers in a timely fashion
- Contacting patients with critical laboratory or imaging results
- Triaging phone calls for patients with an urgent medical problem or postoperative problem
- Performing bladder scan, urinalysis
- Collecting and preparing lab specimens Such as urinalysis and urine cytology
- Assisting with office procedures
- Coordinating benefits
Job Requirements
- Certification as a medical assistant
- At least two years experience as a medical assistant

- Work with a supervising physician to complete and submit medical records

- Work with front desk gas to obtain, make copies and upload relevant patient records
- Coordinate with medical assistant to see which patients are ready to be seen and communicate results of same day studies with physician
- Collaborate with information technology department regarding functionality of laptop, printer and other IT issues
- Professional communication with patients, family members and caregivers

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

Job Description
We are an independent urology group serving Loudoun County looking to hire an in-house pelvic floor physical therapist. We have an amazing team of physicians, advanced practitioners, and medical assistants working with a wide variety of patients. We have had some challenges getting our patients who are in need of pelvic floor physical therapy in to local centers and are hoping to bring this service to patients within the comfort of our office. We anticipate treatment plans to involve initial evaluation, development of treatment plan, and 3-6 weekly follow ups. Whether you're looking to join part-time or full-time, we welcome you to apply. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
We have office locations in Lansdowne, Reston, StoneSprings and Cornwall. Our office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM with a break for lunch.

- Equip patients with PT intervention techniques/exercises: track progress
- Provide education to patients on techniques for the continuation of care
Required Skills
- Accredited PT program graduate
- Up-to-date Virginia PT license
- Ability to work efficiently/effectively in an autonomous environment
- 1+ year(s) of outpatient pelvic floor rehab experience
