Dr. Karen Savopoulos, M.A.

Karen Savopoulos MA, Patient Navigator, joined The Urology Group in 2007. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Shepherd University in West Virginia and has worked in the medical field since 2002. She worked at Inova Loudoun Hospital for several years prior to her joining our practice. Karen has worked as an MA with many of our physicians over the years and moved into her current position as a Patient Navigator for our prostate cancer patients in 2022.

Karen is passionate about prostate cancer and helping those patients navigate their cancer journeys. She is involved with our in-office pharmacy and works with the team to ensure patients can access the medications they need to treat their cancer. She also works closely with our Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic, supporting physicians and assuring patients are able to follow their care plans and receive the treatment they need in a timely manner. She enjoys working to help expand treatment options and services within our practice.

Karen was raised in Western Loudoun County where she still resides with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, photography, and spending time with her family.
